Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Is Genki Native Premium worth it compared to Basic?

It depends on your needs. If you expect to use preventive check-ups, dental treatment, or mental health support regularly, are planning a family, or want full cover in your home country plus no overall coverage limit, Premium generally offers stronger protection than Basic.

Are pregnancy and childbirth covered from day one?

A 12-month waiting period applies to pregnancy and childbirth benefits from the start of your policy. If you're planning to grow your family abroad, it's worth signing up well in advance.

What exactly is included in dental care?

Dental care includes routine checkups, professional cleaning, and treatments such as fillings, root canals, crowns, and bridges. A waiting period and increasing limits apply to some treatments during the first insurance years.

Am I covered in my home country beyond emergencies?

Yes — this is one of the key differences from Basic. Genki Native Premium provides full insurance cover during stays in your home country, not just for acute emergencies.

Is there a maximum coverage amount?

No. Unlike Genki Native Basic (up to €1M per year), Premium has no overall coverage limit per insurance year.
